Public Information and Request Policy
Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is a unit of local government founded in 1969, organized and incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois. The Park District’s purpose is to provide leisure services and facilities for the residents of Homewood and Flossmoor.

H-F Park District’s Board of Commissioners is considered the local legislative body to which is entrusted, by the law, the responsibility for planning, executing and appraising the park and recreation programs and facilities of the District. It is the duty of the Board to approve basic policy for the operation, control and planning of the future and present activities of the Park District.

Leisure Services Committee

The Leisure Services Committee is the Park District’s citizens advisory committee that helps review, evaluate and suggest the district’s recreation programs.
