Extra Innings After School Program
Site Directors
Oversee staff, plan and implement recreational activities for 20-30 children.
Hours: Mon.-Fri. 3:15-6 p.m. / half & full days off of school
Salary: $10-$11 hr. start
Recreation Leaders
Have knowledge of recreational games, sports & crafts; implement recreational activities for 20-30 children.
Hours: Mon.-Fri. 3:15-6 p.m. / half & full days off of school
Salary: $7.50-$8.50 hr. start
Kindergarten Enrichment & Extra Innings at Irwin
Site Director:
Pay Range: $10-11 hr. start
Hours: 1:15pm-6:00pm Monday-Friday (5-day, school-year commitment required), half and full days off of school
Develop curriculum of educational and recreational enrichment activities for kindergarten-aged children. Plan and implement monthly calendar of activities for after school time (3-6pm) for grades K-2. Oversee Recreation Leaders, manage paperwork and address behavioral needs. Customer Service, CPR & First Aid training required (Park District will provide).
Recreation Leader:
Pay Range: $7.50-8 hr. start
Hours: 1:15pm-6:pm Monday-Friday (5-day, school-year commitment required), half and full days off of school.
Work with Site Director to enhance enrichment curriculum and monthly recreational calendars. Lead activities with 10-25 children at a time. Knowledge of games, crafts and sports encouraged.
