For more than three decades, the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District has celebrated summer by bringing top-notch entertainment to the community favorite Starry Nights Concerts at the Marie Irwin Band shell, located in Irwin Park at Ridge Road and Highland Avenue in Homewood. This year in the spirit of inclusion, along with the Village of Flossmoor and Village of Homewood, the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is celebrating Pride Month with a special Starry Nights Concert.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., resource vendors will be on hand providing information and support services while a DJ spins records. Then beginning at 7 p.m., The PriSSillas will take the stage at Starry Nights.
Featuring an eclectic set list, off-the-charts chemistry, and witty sense of humor, The PriSSillas bring it all each time they take the stage. Their high-energy shows will bring you to your feet as they take you on a musical journey cranking out popular hits spanning numerous decades and genres.
Admission to the Starry Nights concerts is FREE. Participants are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Food, beverages and alcohol will be available for purchase from vendors; outside alcohol prohibited. Commemorative PRIDE t-shirts will also be available for purchase.
