The H-F Park District is offering an opportunity for players of all ages to participate in a 3 v 3 esports Rocket League competition this spring in partnership with GGLeagues, a recreational esports league based in Chicago.

Play begins Wednesday, June 10 at 6:30 pm and continues each week through July 15; playoffs will take place Tuesday July 22 from 6:30-8:30 pm

Rocket League is a video soccer game held in a virtual stadium featuring rocket-powered cars playing in a challenging, fast-paced soccer contest with elements of a demolition derby.  Participants in the Park District league may form a team for some friendly online competition from home. Five weeks of play will conclude with playoffs in week six.

Gamers will be placed in one of three divisions depending on skill level, regardless of age:

• Rocket League Division A - Most competitive, no skill cap: Register at > https://www.ggleagues.com/leagues/437
• Rocket League Division B - Moderately competitive, capped at platinum: Register at > https://www.ggleagues.com/leagues/441
• Rocket League Division C - Least competitive, capped at silver: Register at > https://www.ggleagues.com/leagues/442

Requirements: Own Rocket League on PC, XBox, PS4, or Nintendo Switch, have access to play online (Must pay for internet access on XBox, PS4, or Nintendo Switch)
