The H-F Sports Complex

The H-F Sports Complex offers a state-of-the-art gymnasium that can be set up for a variety of activities, the space includes two regulation basketball courts that can be divided by a curtain or three regulation volleyball courts. The gym may also be used to host youth soccer practices, floor hockey and dodgeball among other sporting events.

The Complex is a $2.3 million facility built as a cooperative project between the H-F Park District and Homewood School District 153. During school hours it is used for physical education classes. When school is dismissed and during the summer months, the Sports Complex is used for after-school programs, intramurals, school-break activities and summer camps. On weekends and weekday evenings, this facility is used for open gyms and volleyball and basketball leagues.

The Sports Complex flooring renovation has been completed and the facility will open for rentals on Monday, July 14.

Going forward, rentals will be taken by singular calendar month intervals. Contracts must be finalized and paid in full before requests for the next month will be taken.

Rental requests for the following month will open on the third (3rd) Monday of every month.

Facility reservations need to be made at least two weeks in advance of the requested date.
