Explore and play at the parks of Homewood and Flossmoor. Meet up with our staff to make an outdoor-themed art project. Each week is a new park and a new project.

Join the fun as volunteers come together to beautify their parks for summer! We’ll plan the work to be done, while you provide the manpower. All volunteers receive a t-shirt and lunch provided by a local business. Get outside and socialize with your family, friends, and neighbors- make it a party! Park Pride is a

10:30-11:30 pm & 1-2 pm Gather your loved ones and enjoy an elegant tea. Lemonade, tea, light snacks and desserts will be served. Activities will include a game and a “best hat” contest for both adults and children. Pricing is per table with a maximum of 5 people per table. Event will be held indoors

Ahoy matey! Bring ye scallywags over to Lions Club Pool because the Captain is docking ship. Every hour, on the hour during adult swim there will be a pirate game, craft, or activity happening. Captain Jack may even make a special appearance. 12 pm - Walk the plank 1 pm – Coin hunt/dive 2 pm

The Homewood-Flossmoor Community Band returns this summer for its 59th season of twilight concerts, and its fifth under the baton of Conductor Calhoon. This evening of FREE classical music in the park concert will be a tribute to Conductor Emeritus, Bob Hindsley.

The Stars & Stripes Family Social will feature spin art, a bounce house, lawn games, and food available to purchase from Wiley's Grill. Energetic cover band SHOUT OUT takes the stage at 7 pm. Join Dave Ward, retired Golf Superintendent and native plant expert, for a walk through the native landscaping on Coyote Run Golf Course. Dave will introduce you to landscaping with native species and other ways to green up your home and garden. Meet in front of the clubhouse. This event is FREE, but registration is required.
